Coming into this weekend tournament the 14u team had only had one practice and this came without the entire team. High school ball was just wrapping up which left little time for the team to mesh. It didn't seem to matter as they took home the Tournament Championship in their first weekend of action. Saturday they came in as athletes and finished Sunday as a team!
Head Coach and Hitting Coordinator Justin Pachioli had this to say, "Over the weekend, it was fun to watch the boys grow together as a team. Everyone has talent or they wouldn’t be here so seeing them start to form that family bond was something special! We will get better this week at practice and look forward to watching the growth and development of these boy."
14u will look to continue their development and success entering into their first Diamond Nation tournament of the summer this upcoming weekend!
