The Miracle League

The Miracle League of Northampton County provides children and young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to play baseball. On Tuesday May 10th, 2022, Our 11u-14u Powerballers baseball players had the opportunity to volunteer and help these children and young adults play the game of baseball. Each Powerballers player was paired up with a player with a disability and they helped them bat, run the bases and played catch with them in the outfield. Our Powerballers players cheered them on, encouraged them, played with them and brought so many smiles to their faces. The Miracle League staff and some of the parents of the children were saying what a WONDERFUL job the boys did and how much FUN their kids had playing baseball with our Powerballer players. Some of our own Powerballer players stated “This is the most fun they have ever had”, “They are so happy they could be a part of this night” and they wanted to know “When can we come back and do this again”?. The Powerballers baseball organization is always looking for ways to get our boys involved in the community and we are so glad we were able to do that through spreading the LOVE of baseball.
